Below is the start for a show coming up in April at the Southern Belle that I'm very excited about.  It is outer space themed and I have begun a series of gum prints using images from the Project Apollo image archives.  http://www.apolloarchive.com/apollo_gallery.html 

The first decent print from my new exposure unit.  It only has cyan and magenta layers so far. 

Trying to stay positive seems to be the name of the game at the moment as money is tight and jobs are few. I have applied to two grad schools and am really hoping to get in to one specifically.  I am trying to apply for shows even though money is lacking and am thinking about getting my master's in education to teach art.  A show with the theme of outer space may be happening in the near future  and one of the things cheering me up lately has been Cole's Land camera which he is graciously sharing with me.  I got my exposure unit working which is fantastic! (I only spent around $150 making it) but miss taking physical photographs so am considering putting some energy into getting more polaroid film and pursuing this Land camera thing further.
