New projects and new work on the way! Still working on how to treat the content-
I am interested in commenting on the cultural relevance of the airplane through a visual archive of World War I aircraft. The airplane has developed and evolved both physically and culturally as an icon of power and exploration of new territories and lands. Similar to the photograph a mythical element has taken on the airplane and our understanding of such objects has evolved from one of captivation and mesmerization to our current state of social acceptance and indifference.

I also came across many (hundreds?) of images of my grandfather's from WWII and am excited to start working on a website where I can present the images as an archived collection.
