Things Are Taking Shape-----

What shape, you ask? The shape of Mars? Classes have started- my dreams have returned (which means stress and constant working has ensued, though it's how I like things!)
Senior Seminar has started and my direction has changed. I've decided to work with the river baptism images and mars imagery. Anyone recall my comments regarding Mars? It was a hoax and I've got to be honest, I cried a little.

I knew deep down that it wasn't true, but I wanted it to be true, so badly. I even had dreams about it. So this work for Senior Seminar is really going to focus on myth, narrative, cultural symbols, and faith (from a cultural perspective and my own lack of- i.e. Mars and everything else that has failed to materialize for me).

I'm really excited to get started! Right now, I'm also considering working very small and changing the scale of everything- and I mean everything. This is in the works.
My grad school list is up to... nine! It's getting just plain silly. But every school I'm looking at gets me excited.
The list right now? In no particular order:
University of Oregon, University of Washington, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, MICA, School of Art, Architecture, and Design in Prague, Carnegie Mellon, Ohio State, CalArts, and California College of the Arts.
I'm starting to work on application stuff and it is way too much fun!
Keep a look out for new work!
(And letter writing buddies, keep checking your mailboxes, even if things get busy)
